All Studio Photos by: Barbara LeBrun
Hello to all...
First, let me announce that there are NEW sessions starting this week...
• Yoga for stiffs—(Starts 5/3/09) at 9am on Sundays,
• Yoga 101—(Starts 5/5/09) at 7pm on Tuesdays,
• Foundations for Flow—(Starts 5/7/09) at 7pm on Thursdays,
These are on as usual and finish at the end of June.
Now, I need to let you know that I have made the very difficult decision to close the studio as of the end of June, with the last class on Sunday 6/28. This has not been an easy thing for me, as many of you have been practicing with me for quite a while, and I really treasure the community you have helped to build. My hopes had been for a much longer run, but letting go of attachments is core to yogic philosophy. Right now, it feels like the right decision at the right time, and I have no regrets. It has been a wonderful experience, one I will always keep close to my heart.
For those of you with class cards, you have until the end of June to use them up. Most of you have up to 8 classes left, and that translates into about one class per week... feel free to come more often to use up classes, or bring a friend or family member to help you use up your classes. The Drop In classes will remain as they are for the remainder of May and June: Wed am at 9 (except this week only...), Wed pm at 7, Sat am at 7 and 9, Sun am at 10:30. You will also still be able to pay drop in rates if you don't have a class card right up until 6/28.
Also, there is a good chance that at some point I will be teaching again, and if you wish to remain on my email list, please let me know. That way I can contact you if I do start teaching again. Otherwise, at the end of June, I will be deleting email addresses.
I hope to be seeing you during the next 8 weeks or so!
Thank You for EVERYTHING!
Ann
offers classes to suit the needs of a variety of students. Class size is generally small, which allows for more attention from the teacher. Props are used regularly (as needed) in order to allow the student to move into the expression of the pose that best suits that particular student.
Belchertown Yoga is located in the "other center" of Belchertown, off rt. 202, near the schools and police department. With it's convenient location and ample free parking, Belchertown Yoga can easily serve the yoga needs of the community of Belchertown as well as its surrounding towns.
is located on the second floor, and has a comfortable and inviting reception space. The temperature is kept comfortable year round in the studio (see studio image above).
Props and mats are readily available at the studio for students to use during class, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
