Ann Natario has been a yoga practitioner since 1999, and recieved her yoga teacher certification in 2003. Her training was through the Yoga Center in Amherst (yogacenteramherst.com) and she is registered with Yoga Alliance (yogaalliance.org). She opened Belchertown Yoga in January of 2006, and while her teaching style is Iyengar based, she is also influenced by many different traditions including Kripalu, Astanga, Restorative and Bikram's yoga.
In her teaching, Ann likes to bring an awareness of alignment and help students establish a strong mind-body connection. Some of her favorite yoga studios in the area to visit as a student include:
Sharon Riley received her teacher certification from the Yoga Center Amherst in 2004. She has been practicing and studying various styles of yoga for the last 8 years. With intense consciousness of fitness and well being, she has been a work place fitness and wellness coordinator for 9 years. She continually increases her knowledge with her own personal practice and attending various yoga workshops.
Body Flow: This class teaches sequences of flowing postures linked by the breath to detoxify, strengthen, and stretch the body. The yoga sequences will encourage opening, alignment and flexibility and will build balance, strength and cardiovascular endurance.
